Sabbath School is one of the most important parts of Sabbath Worship. It gives us the opportunity for Fellowship, Mission understanding, Outreach, Bible study and Discussion.  It is a privilege to be able to study our Study Guide in a small group setting,  Sabbath School should always be a part of the weekly Sabbath worship.  It builds faith through the study of the Scriptures and the doctrines and teachings of the Seventh-day Adventist Church.  Sabbath School is made up of two division, one for children and one for adults.

  1. Study of the Word
  2. Fellowship
  3. Community Outreach
  4. World Mission Emphasis

Sabbath School helps the student understand the gospel and make a personal commitment to it,  It allows them to grow spiritually through the study of the Bible and the Spirit of Prophecy.  It helps students develop a prayer program and teaches them how to interpret and apply the principles of the Scriptures to their lives.

"Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. 2 Timothy 2:15."

Is encouraged and fostered:

  • Through the weekly Sabbath School Class
  • Recruitment of new members and integration into church life, and
  • Finding ways to restore inactive members

"But if we walk in the light,m as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.  1 John 1:7"

Sabbath School helps students catch a vision of the church its mission in the community, train them for service, and inspire them to witness& develop programs to involve them in soul-winning activities.

"Now I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you; but that ye be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgement.  1 Corinthians 1:10."

Sabbath School presents a clear vision of the global mission of the church,  It promotes a personal, systematic, and self-denying commitment to the support of world missions, and fosters in all a desire to help fulfill the gospel commission,

"Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost.  Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you:and,lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world.  Amen.  Matthew 28:19-20"
