About

Our GED preparatory classes are offered free-of-charge for adults, ages 18 and older, seeking to take the General Education Diploma (GED) Test. The classes are taught by the dedicated volunteer teachers of our Education Ministry. The subjects that are covered include: Reading Comprehension, Writing Composition, Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies.

What to Expect

Prior to beginning the course, all new students are required to register either online or in-person during class time. New students will be required to take an assessment/test to help the instructors determine the subject areas where the students need to focus their studies.

Class Schedule

Classes are on hold until further notice.  Ordinarily they are held weekly,  Mondays and Tuesdays from 5 pm to 7 pm and Wednesday 5 pm to 6 pm at our church. NOTE:  Classes are postponed for nationally-recognized holidays and during public school summer breaks from late May to September, fall breaks, and spring breaks.

See our EVENTS page for class schedule updates.

Materials Used

The classes are taught using the latest versions of the best GED test prep and practice books. Our church provides students with the necessary study materials completely FREE.
